Presentation of Information
There are a number of different ways of presenting information, and it is most important that the method and style selected is appropriate for the target audience.

Some information needs to be formal (Eg. a legal letter), but some needs to be eye-catching and colourful (Eg. An advertisement for a car)

A list of different presentation types and some examples :

Printed documents Printed receipts from supermarkets, company newsletters, theatre ticket, passport, catalogue, holiday brochure, bank statement.

 

Electronic document Email notification of a holiday booking, an e-book, an instruction manual stored on a CD.

 

Screen display An online booking form for a hotel, an online bank statement, a spreadsheet graph showing business profits.

 

Multimedia A business presentation about a new product.

 

Web site A company's e-commerce web site.

 

Sound Spoken output for visually handicapped computer users.

 

Video An instructional video for on-line learning.
