[1] Create a spreadsheet like the one here:
Storage type Size(Mb) Cost(£) Cost per Mb(£)
Hard drive      
CD      
DVD      
USB Memory stick      
Add more rows to the spreadsheet if you look at additional types of backing storage.
Make sure the cells in the 'Cost per Mb' column have appropriate formulae in them.
