| Tree Network | ||
| Another type of network topology is a Tree network. It is
      really a number of star networks connected to
      a bus.
       A hub is a device that is used to connect nodes to a network. Data received by a hub, is broadcast to all other nodes connected to the hub. A switch is similar to a hub, but when data is received by a switch, it recognises the address of the node to which it needs to send it, and only sends it to that node.  |
