Hi everyone,

I held my course team meeting on 31^st May at 4.15pm in Glan yr Afan House, however, nobody turned up!! I think there was miss-communication?? (Gwen xxx).

As such, I am e mailing some of the important information. However, in due course, I will write up the minutes and send them to you.

The very last week of Access delivery is week beginning Monday 18^th June.

A sample of students’ work is to be verified before the students leave for all Access groups. I have attached a verification sheet for those of you who need to give students’ work to another tutor (apart from myself) to verify. The verification process is identified below;

A square root of the students’ work is to be given for verification e.g.

if 4 students or less in the class – 2 students’ work needs to be verified

if between 5-9 students in the class – 3 students’ work needs to be verified

if 10 students in the class – 4 students’ work needs to be verified

Jan – Anatomy and Physiology – to be given to Kath Williams for verifying

Jan – Human Growth and Development – to be given to Clair Rees for verifying

Jackie Hughes – Social Work - to be given to Allison for verifying (already done)

Carolyn Palmer – Interpersonal and Interactive Skills - to be given to Allison for verifying

Allison – Sociological and Psychological Aspects of Care – to be given to Sarah Mellor for verifying

Kiera Lee – Research Project and Communication – to be given to Allison Jones for verifying

Clair Rees – Concepts of Care – to be given to Gwen Davies for verifying

Gwen Davies – Concepts of Care – to be given to Allison Jones for verifying (already done)

In addition, can you please provide me with a list of what the students have achieved in all units that you have delivered this academic year by Wednesday 13^th June so that I can complete their RACs in readiness for the Exam Board. Thank you.
