    Aim and purpose of the unit:

    This unit enables learners to acquire the essential knowledge and skills to be able to understand and plan the maintenance of the mechanical systems that are used in modern plant and equipment Engineering.

     

    Assessment of the unit

    This unit is assessed by an internally marked multiple-choice examination that cover outcomes LO 1 to LO 6, Internal practical assessments that cover outcomes LO 3 - LO 6 and a research assessment that covers outcome LO 1 & LO 2.
