Mae'r cymhwyster Sylfaen mewn Peirianneg Adeiladu a Gwasanaethau Adeiladu (Lefel 2) yn galluogi dysgwyr ddechrau datblygu eu:

 dealltwriaeth o'r adeiladau a'r strwythurau sy'n ffurfio'r amgylchedd adeiledig a
sut maen nhw'n newid, ac wedi newid, dros amser

 dealltwriaeth o gylch bywyd adeiladau a strwythurau yn yr amgylchedd adeiledig a'r
egwyddorion a phrosesau cysylltiedig ar bob cam

 dealltwriaeth o'r crefftau, y rolau a'r gyrfaoedd yn yr amgylchedd adeiladu ac adeiledig
sector

 dealltwriaeth o gynaliadwyedd cymdeithasol, economaidd ac amgylcheddol fel y bo'n briodol i
adeiladu a'r amgylchedd adeiledig

 sgiliau cyflogadwyedd a'u dealltwriaeth o sut mae'r rhain yn berthnasol, ac yn bwysig
yn y gweithle yn y sector adeiladu a'r amgylchedd adeiledig

 gwybodaeth am dechnolegau sy'n dod i'r amlwg yn y sector adeiladu a'r amgylchedd adeiledig

 gwybodaeth am egwyddorion gweithio a'r gallu i gymhwyso egwyddorion gweithio mewn ffyrdd sy'n diogelu iechyd, diogelwch, lles a'r amgylchedd

 gwybodaeth am egwyddorion gweithio a'r gallu i gymhwyso egwyddorion gweithio mewn ffyrdd sy'n diogelu iechyd,
diogelwch, lles a'r amgylchedd

 gwybodaeth, sgiliau a dealltwriaeth sydd eu hangen wrth gynllunio, perfformio a gwerthuso

tasgau ymarferol cyffredin mewn o leiaf ddwy grefft o fewn y gwaith adeiladu ac adeiladu sector yr amgylchedd.

Qualification Aims and Objectives

The Foundation in Construction and Building Services Engineering (Level 2) qualification enables learners to begin to develop their:

 Ÿ understanding of the buildings and structures that constitute the built environment and how they change, and have changed, over time

 Ÿ understanding of the trades, roles and careers in the construction and built environment sector

Ÿ understanding of the life cycle of buildings and structures in the built environment and the associated principles and processes at each stage

 Ÿ understanding of social, economic and environmental sustainability as appropriate to construction and the built environment

Ÿ knowledge of emerging technologies in the construction and built environment sector

Ÿ employability skills and their understanding of how these are relevant to, and important in, the workplace in the construction and built environment sector

Ÿ knowledge of and ability to apply the principles of working in ways which protect health, safety, well-being and the environment

 Ÿ knowledge, skills and understanding required in planning, performing and evaluating common practical tasks in at least two trades within the construction and built environment sector.
